Vintage Wood
I'm going for a vintage coffeehouse look for my room. How should I decorate it to get this look?
I just painted my room olive green, I have a plain wood floor, some candles that used to look like cappucinos before I left them in the sun, a starbucks coffee cup as a pen-holder, a big clock with a picture of Elvis on it and blue neons around the outside, but thats pretty much all. Can anyone give me some tips on things I can add/do to my room in order to get it looking more how I described in the title?
Im not trying to turn my room into a coffeehouse, Im just trying to achieve that same atmosphere. Thanks
Put a little cafe table in the corner with a couple of chairs for your morning coffee. I'd add a couple of pictures over that area pertaining to the coffee theme. This is where you can go more of a vintage look. Perhaps you can find something on ebay?? How about a vintage chaulkboard with phrases pertaining to coffee or a "cup of the day". Sounds like a great theme. Good luck!
