Candy favors: Should I choose something yummy or pretty?
Our colors are: turquoise/teal blue, white, and black.
We’re eloping, but having a reception for our guests when we return from our honeymoon. There will be aduIts, teens, and children invited. I figured all ages would like a candy favor.
I was thinking of blue jordan almonds in clear cellophane bags tied with thin black ribbon…but, some ppl don’t like the taste.
So…. I thought about blue M&M’s in the same bags tied with the same ribbon.
The reason I can’t decide is because he is from Jordan and I thought the jordan almonds might add a bit of his culture to the reception…. but ppl like M&M’s and only a handful of our guests will be from the Middle East.
Should I go with the yummy M&M’s or the pretty jordan almonds ?
Or should I go with the pricer option and do both? Mix the white almonds with blue M&M’s in the cellophane bag and tie them with thin black ribbon?

No one eats Jordan almonds unless they want to break their teeth. Go for yummy candy that your guests will eat. Otherwise it’s money and food that is wasted. Favors are never required anyway and people won’t miss them if they aren’t there.

I want to purchase a Vaporizer for use. The internal components including the Vapor Stem through which the vapor travels is made of brass. The unit heats to approximately 400 degrees. I was wondering if its possible for tiny amounts of lead to be leached into the vapor during this heating process? I was told that 400 degrees is not even close to what is needed for lead to leach into vapor so it is safe… yet I am having reservations. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!
Very little brass has lead in it.. it is zinc and copper. There is no reason for a company to used any kind of leaded brass in a vaporizer, so the answer is “no, no lead will leach.”
Is there an herb or a plant you can use to keep stray cats away from your home. I don’t want to use chemicals.
I have a 7 yr. old child and a bunny in an outside cage, so I can’t use something potentially harmful to them. After the house down the street was torn down our neighborhood is plagued by these cats & you can smell the spray as soon as you walk out of the door.
