Tone Cigarette

Tone Cigarette
Is the tone and sound of our voice genetic (so we sound like a mix of our parents)?

I mean, the size of the voicebox must come genetically so we must inherit what our voice sounds like ( though some I realise will be down to social conditioning). I’m stumped because I want a sexy voice and no amount of cigarettes or shouting will make me sound nice. Am I random or what?

Must be because I sound exactly like my Dad and have since I was 17.

Slim Filter

Slim Filter
New to smoking. What tastes best?

Hi im new to smoking an have only tried orange flavored cigarettes and to me that taste and smell like #### I have smelt some good ones but I dont know what type they are. Does anyone have any suggestions? also with rollies is there any difference between slim filters and ultra slim filters except the size difference?
also dont give people the thumbs down just because they are actually answering the question. If your telling my to quit your not answering the question thats know as spamming and thats meant to be given the thumbs down.
It would be appreciated if someone could actually answer the question instead of telling me to stop. If i stop it will be because I want to not because others think I should. Now tell me. Whats the real type of conformity huh? Smoking because you want to of quitting because your told to?

Cloves do smell/taste good, as everyone is saying, but keep in mind that they’re pricey and they don’t give you nearly the buzz that real cigarettes do. Not to mention that cloves — like menthol cigarettes — have fiberglass in them, which literally shreds your lungs. Yeah, health when smoking is all relative, but considering the lack of any kind of buzz or stress relief, I say stay away from cloves.

Marlboro Lights, Camel No. 9’s, and Parliaments all don’t have a very strong flavor or odor. I like that because it means that you won’t be tasting your cigarette three hours later.

I stay away from flavored cigarettes — yeah, they might taste okay for a while, but could you really smoke a whole pack of oranges or strawberries or whatever? I know I couldn’t. I recommend those blander tasting cigarettes. Those are the kind you can hang on to for a while.

Vintage Solid

Vintage Solid
should i buy this vintage road bike?

i went to my local goodwill and found a vintage road bike. it is by my uneducated guess 15-20 years old. it says gitane and has some solid parts, it looks to be in good condition, tube scrathes etc but nothing serious. i was set to buy it but then i checked the price tag…$135…from a good will. that seemed like way too much. is it?
ok well i remember the components were all shimano 600

Gitanes were good old bikes. Check the drivetrain components. If they ALL say “Campagnolo” and “Nuovo Record” or “Super Record” then GO FOR IT. If they say “Simplex” or “Huret” or even “Shimano”, forget it.

The Gitane to look for is the “Tour de France”, but only the one with full Campagnolo Nuovo Record or Super Record drivetrain. The others aren’t worth much… maybe $20 on a good day.
