What is the best way to remove the smell of cigarette smoke from leather upholstery?
Ok, you're going to think this is strange, but try it before you condemn it. 
Wash the upholstery with shaving cream. It doesn't matter what brand it is, as long as it's white shaving cream.
Lather the leather up, then wipe with a damp cloth.
The smell will be gone instantly.

Shaving cream should not be used to clean fabric uphostery...just leather or vinyl uphostery.
