Novelty Lighter

Lighters in Hong Kong?
I'm going to Hong Kong next week and last time I was there I noticed there were heaps of novelty like lighters at the street markets e.g ladies market had lighters in shape of cell phone.
They pretty much all had green flames. What do they run on and will I be able to take them back with me on the plane to New Zealand?
They are just "torch type" lighters and use butane like other types of lighters. You should have no problem bringing a few back to NZ, it's probably best to put them in your check-in baggage though, those type of lighters are banned from carry on bags on US flights, but I can't say whether they're banned from carry on luggage on flights leaving HK. Just check them in and they're probably fine.
