I Have Been Buying Cigarettes Online, Am I Going To Be Responsible Down The Road For Taxes?
I live in Illinois but have been purchasing cigarettes online through the UK. The place that I usually buy cigarettes from told my boyfriend I might be liable for taxes. Is this correct?

Quite possibly, yes.
When you purchase cigarettes online you evade your states cigarette excise tax.
Many people have been "busted" for this in the past few years. Some states have been more aggressive than others.
