Felt Indian

Do Indian people feel angry that English is so widely spoken in their country?
OK, I've never been to India.
In school I studied about the history of British colonialism in India.
One of the things left over from the British occupation was the English language.
Even though Hindi is the dominant language, English is also widely spoken in India today.
Do the Indian people feel resentful when hearing English being spoken in their country. Like it was forced upon them by an oppressor.
I know that French Canadians feel resentful and sometimes angry when English is spoken in their midst.
English is only spoken by 10% of the Indian population as a second or third language, not as a first language. So I wouldn't say it is widely spoken.
Percentage wise, India is has a lot less speakers of English than a lot of countries who weren't even colonized by the British.
