Where can I buy a Petrol siphoning device in melbourne?
Does anyone know where I can buy a device to siphon petrol from my car? It has broken down with $70 worth of fuel in it and before the wreckers take my car away I want to get it out. I dont want to get petrol in my mouth so prefer not to use a hose. I heard there may be a market in preston that sells some sort of gadget. Please let me know.
Use the hose- you feed the whole hose in (must be a few metres long) untill just the end is sticking out. Put your thumb over the end and pull a couple of metres of hose out. Let your thumb off and it should siphon.
