Can you fly the Confederate Flag Outside Your Home?

I live in a community and we are aloud to fly flags but our neighbor (black rasict man) likes to complain on us alot. But if we fly the Confederate flag when he complains (cause i know he will) The police cant make us take it down right ? Do we not have the right to fly thaat flag ?

It's ironic that the old Stars and Bars of the Confederacy have become equated with racism.
The war wasn't about slavery. It was about the State's right to secede from a Union they no longer wanted to be a part of.
Had you asked a Southern soldier, "Are you fighting to keep slavery?" he would have looked at you like you're crazy.
Had you asked a Northern soldier, "Are you fighting to free the slaves?" he would have laughed in your face.
As Lincoln himself said, upon signing the Emancipation Proclamation (which only freed slaves in Southern states that came under Union occupation) (I'm going to paraphrase) "If I can preserve the Union by freeing some slaves, I'll do it. If I preserve the Union by freeing none of the slaves, I'd do it. If I can preserve the Union by freeing all of the slaves, I'd do it."
Fly the flag. Many Americans died following it, and fighting it. It deserves to be remembered.
