darkness devours the light
God and his glories have fell to the fiends
demons deliver the night
Wolves and wild beasts find the faithful and feast
tearing at hope heavy hearts
chasing the cherubs and chewing on bones
leaving the less tasty parts
Nightmares rape dreams while the subconscious screams
stars sink to bottomless black
foulness and fear spiked with serpentine smoke
carnage creeps out of the cracks
lightning bolts lash as we weep for the ash
briar and beautiful blaze
silence is suffered from strangling screams
mourning the death of our days
