Does supermarket bleach really kill all germs as advertised?
I dropped a lighter in the area the dog does his business. there were no marks on the item, no smell and it was sitting there for like 30 seconds. I then put it in supermarket undiluted bleach for an hour to clean it, should that have cleaned it? I then rinsed it with some water until it didn't smell of bleach anymore.

As far as I remember it says "Kills 100% of all KNOWN germs".
You've avoided the dog poop and now you're covered in UNKNOWN germs 
It's clean and there is nothing in dog poop that will kill you. If your dog has ever licked you, you got the full whack anyway - where do dogs tongues go?
