Were patterns such as this popular in the 80's?!?

I have 2 jackets I think would be 80's because tomorrow is retro day at my school, and I am obviously going 80's!
Okayy, first jacket-

Except mine is a lighter blue.
And I cannot find a picture but the colors are blue, dark blue, pea green, and a bit of a bronze yellow billabong jacket. It is kinda to trick your eyes I guess. I am sorry I cannot find a picture =]

Also, what types of T-Shirt would I wear? I have alot, so it shouldn't be a problem finding one. BUT NO EXTRA LARGE SHIRTS THAT COME OFF YOUR SHOULDER!!

ummm...think madonna and cyndi lauper... Leg warmers, 5,000 bracelets, "kiddie" looking plastic bracelets, big hair, super bright colors. Shirts that come off your shoulder were like the biggest trend in the 80s so you're retarded to be doing an 80's day with out them. You could try a slogan shirt. Don't wear that stupid hoodie either, it's more like modern day hot topic not 80's.
