Havana or Montecristo ?

What's the best type of cigar I can get my dad from my trip to spain?
I know and been told havana and Montecristo Cigars are very good.

I know this might be bad for health but he will smoke any type as i have brought him back big cheap things lolo.

He will smoke 2-3 a month(well i think)

Any advice or replys would be welcome.

I smoke Trinidad Robusto Extras, which sell at about £22 a pop, but they are a nice smooth smoke or medium, it really depends on what he likes..

if you are buying a couple try Cohiba siglo VI (six) they are seriously nice, but even more expensive than the Trinidad's
Havana is in Cuba, and Havana is the place where 90% of Cuban Cigars are made, others are like Mexico, Dom Republic.. Davidoff are made from outside Cuba.
If you want Cigars on the cheap, www.topcubans.com is where I get mine from, otherwise, if you live in London, you could try:
La Casa del Habano Wardour Street, London W1
Davidoff's St James st (beside the Ritz, Green Park) W1
JJ Fox also on St James st

if you find out what he likes, long, small, average, full medium then you can pop down to the shops and see what is around, have a try (it took me to smoke ten different Cigars to find my one!) so it is trail and error, and if he wants any more, go to Top cubans, cheap at half the price, and there isn't a single thing wrong with them, scouts honour!

ps: 'if' he is going to keep Cigars, then he will need a humidor, and de ionised water, now never mind that rubbish, that the de ionised water from the Cigar shop is the best, goto Tesco Garage and get a litre of de ionised water (Kettles, battery water..) for one tenth of the price!
and he will need a lighter with butane gas, or matches
